Esquire magazine, which is known for its best-dressed male celebrity ratings, is launching a new search for sharp-dressed men. Starting from March 15, Esquire is launching the search for “The Best-Dressed Real Man in America.” The search will be conducted in 10 US cities, with a panel of judges and local celebrities deciding who is a local style icon. "In every city in America there are men who express their ambition and their personality in the way they dress every morning," Esquire Editor-in-Chief David Granger said in a statement "Right now, men in the U.S. are showing more originality in personal style than ever before." The five finalists will appear on NBC “Today” show co-hosted by Katie Couric and viewers will vote for the winner on Esquire magazine’s website. The fashion savvy males from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and L A are to vie for the finals. Last year, one half of the OutKast duo Andre 3000 topped the magazine’s best dressed list. "He's a complete individual. That's really the point” said fashion director Nick Sullivan told Reuters, claiming that Esquire list is more about personal style than anything else.
